Is it possible to get an infection from inserting water into the urethra?

Hey, today I pushed water into my bladder (at least uming from the amount of water that came out afterwards) via my urethra (male), but I read a bit and found that if you use unclean objections for urethra sounding, you can get nasty infections. Can the same happen if you use water? It came directly from the shower hose through a plastic funnel. Am I in danger? Thanks in advance.
