Should i get over him or not?

My boyfriend just moved to New York at the end of July. We have known each other since 4th grade and we went are seperate ways and we just met again this year and we fell in love with each other. Then he finds out that he has to move to New York which is along ways away from North Carolina. Anyways, When he first told me i was so worried that he was going to go off to new york and find some pretty new yorker and forget about me. So he did what i thought he would, he found him another girl but hes still in love with me. We still talk everyday for hours and he still tells me that he loves me and that he just has a girl friend there to have one. Im am so scared that i am going to loose him to this girl who is probly better than me and it hurts me so much when he talks about her and just knowing that someboby else is laying in his arms. Im in love with him and no that his girlfriend is probly in love with him too. He has to love her but i just dont no who he is in love with me or her. I dont want to loose him we have gone through way to much and i love him. he is my life. What should i do?
