Dam power supply frustration...?

They said its easy, not until you get into it. Im so pissed right now with all these problems with my pc and stuff and now i got a bigger problem, replacing the power supply. Its very interesting that the power supply 450W doesnt come with any instructions whatsoever. So i unplugged the power supply and opened the case, then i unscrewed the back screws and took the power supply out, now i unplugged all the connections, was only like 4 actually, no problem (true there were sum hanging). I now unpack the new power supply and notice its got like 12 connections. Ooo interesting, i easily plugged in the motherboard one and the small one, now only left to plug into the cd drive i think and the thing under it and i realize there are about 6 of those types, nice what now, do try and guess or what?
